(This article is part of our Indoor Play series at Inner Drive Golf.)
Indoor golf means different things to different people.
For some, it’s a place to escape the weather.
For others, it’s a way to practise more often, or to play great courses without the travel.
And for many, it’s simply a social space that happens to involve golf.
Inner Drive Golf sits at the intersection of all three.
We are an indoor golf venue based in New Malden, London, built around Trackman simulator technology — but technology is only part of the story. What matters more is how the space is used, and who it’s designed for.
Who we are
Inner Drive Golf is a modern indoor golf venue with seven Trackman-powered simulator bays, a relaxed lounge and bar, and additional social games such as shuffleboard.
Everything here is designed to feel welcoming, unpretentious and well run — whether you’re a low-handicap golfer looking to practise properly, or someone who’s never picked up a club before.
We offer open play, structured practice, professional coaching, memberships, and private or corporate events, all within the same space.
Who Inner Drive Golf is for
We’re deliberately broad in who we serve — but very specific in how.
Keen golfers come to Inner Drive Golf to practise with purpose. Trackman provides the same data and tools used by professionals, but we focus on helping players use that information in a practical, repeatable way. Many of our regulars use the venue as part of a weekly routine rather than an occasional visit.
Casual and social players come because it’s an easy, pressure-free way to play. You don’t need experience, special equipment, or even an interest in golf to enjoy a session. The games are accessible, the environment is relaxed, and the emphasis is on enjoyment rather than performance.
Groups and corporate clients choose Inner Drive Golf because it works for mixed abilities. People can play, watch, chat, have a drink, or move between activities naturally. It’s engaging without being intense, and social without being chaotic.
Why we’re different
There are plenty of places with golf simulators. What sets Inner Drive Golf apart is how intentionally the experience has been designed.
We don’t treat indoor golf as a novelty, nor do we run it like a traditional driving range. Instead, we focus on flow — how people move through the space, how sessions fit into real lives, and how golf works as part of a social environment.
A few things that matter to us:
Consistency over intensity
Progress in golf comes from regular, focused sessions. That’s why we support different session lengths, structured practice, and coaching formats that fit around busy schedules.
Technology with context
Trackman provides exceptional data, but data alone doesn’t make you better. Our coaching and practice philosophy is about using the right information at the right time — not overwhelming players with numbers.
Golf that works socially
Not everyone in a group wants to hit balls for an hour. Our layout, lounge areas, and additional games mean people can engage in different ways without anyone feeling left out.
A space that feels welcoming and for everyone
We’ve paid as much attention to the atmosphere as the equipment. It matters that people feel comfortable bringing friends, colleagues, or clients here.
More than just a simulator venue
Inner Drive Golf isn’t about replacing the golf course. It complements it.
For many players, it’s where improvement happens during the week.
For others, it’s a way to stay connected to the game year-round.
And for some, it’s simply a great place to spend time with people they enjoy.
That balance — between performance, accessibility and social connection — is what we set out to create.
If you’re curious, the best way to understand Inner Drive Golf is to experience it. Whether you come to practise, play, learn, or simply spend time with others, you’ll find a space designed to work around you, not the other way round.
